One Lost Stone
One Lost Stone, our new and exciting site-responsive performance, will be created from our R&D workshops, and from the research and oral historieswe are collecting. Help us originate this dynamic new work and be part of the performance June/July 2020 in and around Novo Cemetery, in the grounds of Queen Mary University of London.
Participants will enjoy a guided, educational tour in the grounds of Queen Mary University of London and Novo Cemetery to reveal aspects of this fascinating, buried history. The experience will be an engagement with a partly concealed legacy, offering encounters with some flamboyant characters and others who found a way of survival as secret immigrants.
We will be performing the tour several times over one day.
We are looking for volunteers of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and ethnicities to engage and participate.
Do you want to perform? Be a steward? Help out with the costumes or props? Gain experience in researching or script writing? Do you have stories or experience you could contribute? Is history your passion? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
One Lost Stone will be created through a series of workshops and rehearsals in London. Participants do not need to attend every workshop rehearsal but must be available for the performances inJune / July 2020.

- 4 Day Intensive Workshop: Sun 25 – Wed 28August 2019, London. Venue and times tbc
- 19 – 20 September Text Research Workshop
- June / July 2020 Production and Performance Event (venue and times to be announced)
Cost: Workshops are free
